Local Lifestyle

Sandwich locals routinely indulge in history and culture while still enjoying days at the beach. Historic downtown is home to some of the most quaint shopping on the Cape, with many businesses being set up in New England-style shingle homes. Locally-owned boutiques, old-fashioned burger joints, and quaint seaside inns line the streets, just minutes away from some of the region’s most beautiful beaches. While Sandwich is the oldest community on the Cape and the times surely have changed, the old-fashioned aura and sense of manners have not disappeared, with more and more summertime visitors deciding to make the move to this Cape village a permanent one.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

For over 300 years, The Dan’l Webster Inn & Spa has been one of Cape Cod’s favorite lodging and gathering points for locals and visitors alike. Guests enjoy luxurious spa treatments, afternoons spent lounging by the pool, and succulent meals in one of their four exquisite dining rooms, perfect for any occasion.

Sometimes a night at home might be the best option, and The Brown Jug is the best place to stock up on pantry staples and elevated basics from their large selection of wine, specialty cheeses, local meats, snacks, and other charcuterie board essentials.
